Fit changes how a graphic sits. A close silhouette keeps the image near the body, while a roomier shape gives a large composition more breathing room and movement.
Regular, relaxed and oversized: choose the silhouette first
Regular fit is a starting point for a straighter everyday silhouette. Relaxed fit usually adds room without necessarily creating a very wide or dropped-shoulder shape. Oversized fit describes a deliberately larger-looking silhouette, but the exact proportions depend on the garment. These labels are not a substitute for a measurement chart.
Do not automatically order two sizes larger to get an oversized look. Extra chest width can arrive with unwanted body length or sleeves that sit differently from the silhouette you intended. Compare the actual measurements and the position of the shoulder seam.
Flat chest width is not body chest circumference
A chart may describe the garment laid flat, a body measurement taken around the chest, or an international size conversion. Check the heading before comparing numbers. Never compare a flat half-width directly with a full body circumference. This size-guide reference distinguishes body measurements, product measurements and international conversions.
Illustrative example, not a KOSVYRE size chart: your favorite tee measures 22 inches across the chest and 28 inches long. A candidate at 23 inches wide and 29 inches long adds one inch of flat width and one inch of length. The width change represents approximately two inches around the garment, but it does not by itself tell you how much room there will be around your body. Compare shoulder and sleeve measurements too.
Measure a tee you already like
Size labels are not consistent across every garment style or manufacturer. The fastest useful comparison is a shirt you already wear comfortably.
- Lay the tee flat without stretching it.
- Measure straight across the chest from underarm to underarm.
- Measure from the high shoulder area down to the bottom hem.
- If sleeve shape matters to you, compare the shoulder seam and sleeve length too.
- Match those numbers to the garment measurements on the product page.
This approach shows how the garment will relate to your body more clearly than choosing only by the letter on the tag.
Understand common fit language
Terms such as standard, relaxed, boxy, fitted, and oversized are useful clues, not universal measurements. A relaxed tee usually allows more room through the body. A boxier cut often feels wider and shorter. An oversized look may come from a purpose-built silhouette or from choosing a larger size, and those two approaches do not always drape the same way.
The product page should identify the actual garment and provide a size guide. If measurements are missing, ask for them before choosing a size.
Let the artwork influence the silhouette
A compact chest image can feel precise on a closer fit. A large central composition often benefits from a straighter or roomier body so the print can sit without constant folding. Tall designs need enough vertical space; wide designs need room across the chest.
Think about how you want the graphic to move. A crisp, centered signal may feel strongest when the fabric stays relatively flat. A surreal landscape or fluid chrome form can look more dynamic on a relaxed garment with visible movement.
Choose color for contrast and wearability
Dark garments give neon, chrome, and ultraviolet graphics a cinematic ground. Softer neutrals can suit linework and quieter compositions. The most dramatic color is not always the best choice if it does not fit the rest of your wardrobe.
Use variant images to compare the same artwork on each offered garment color. A reliable listing should not offer combinations where important details disappear or the mockup misrepresents the print.
Check more than chest width
Two tees with the same flat chest measurement can feel different because of body length, shoulder placement, sleeve opening, fabric weight, and stretch. Compare the measurements that matter to how you wear a shirt, and allow for the layering you actually plan to use. If you fall between sizes, decide whether closer structure or more movement matters more to you.

Two final sizing questions
What should I do between sizes?
Compare the smaller and larger garment measurements with a tee you own. Decide whether you need extra room through the body, more length, or both. Check any stated measurement tolerance. When the chart does not answer your question, ask KOSVYRE support before ordering rather than relying on a guess.
Does relaxed unisex fit mean oversized?
Not necessarily. For example, the Certificate of Questionable Judgment tee is described as relaxed unisex on its product page. That does not promise the same proportions as a purpose-cut oversized garment. Use the measurements for the exact product and size.
